About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Technical Volunteer Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about animal welfare, volunteer coordination, and community engagement.
The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, managing, and supporting volunteers across the country. This includes coordinating the rehoming process for dogs exiting our program, maintaining contact records, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure volunteer needs are met efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
* Volunteer Recruitment & Management: Lead recruitment, screening, training, and recognition of programme volunteers.
* Volunteer Development & Support: Develop innovative strategies to grow and retain a national volunteer base.
* Rehoming Coordination & Programme Support: Manage the rehoming process for dogs exiting the programme.
This role requires a proactive, results-driven approach with a collaborative mindset. The ideal candidate will have a third-level qualification in business or a related field, at least 1 year of experience in a business, recruitment, or administrative role, and strong communication, multitasking, and organisational skills.
