We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Technician within our Quality Team in Edgeworthstown, Co.Longford.
The Role will involve working on 12 hour Shifts 6am to 6pm on the following work pattern
* Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Wed, Saturday and Sunday
* Week 2 Thursday & Friday
* Week 3 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Sat and Sunday
Key Responsibilities
* Verify Thermal Processes to ensure compliance with food safety standards
* Conduct Daily Product Evaluations and Quality Testing
* Perform Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Audits across production areas
* Review and maintain accurate Quality Documentation and Records
* Collect and manage Product Samples for analysis and traceability
* Execute Production Line Quality Checks to ensure consistent standards
* Carry out Glass and Hard Plastic Control Audits to mitigate contamination risks
* Monitor Pest Control Measures, including bait station inspections
* Verify Cleaning Procedures to ensure hygiene standards are upheld
* Perform Metal Detector and Check Weigher Validations
* Communicate qualityrelated findings and concerns to relevant Department Managers
* Support and participate in Internal and External Site Audits
* Any other requirements which may arise to support the quality department including (Cleaning, Pest Control).
Skills and Experience
* A highly motivated and dependable individual with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
* 1-2 years' experience in a similar quality or food manufacturing role
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
* A collaborative team player with a positive and approachable attitude
* Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fastpaced environment
