Our client is a well known organisation based in North Dublin seeking to recruit a Payroll Specialist to look after all payroll related activities.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, duties will include:
* Prepare weekly and monthly payroll for processing
* Process payroll journals and statutory requirements
* Calculate overtime and prepare reports for Senior Management
* Support on project to upgrade time and attendance system
* Deal with all payroll related queries
* Bank account management
* Bank reconciliations
* Providing payslips
* Producing monthly reports as requested
* Processing starters and leavers
* Adherence to deadlines in the processing and submission of all statutory returns
* Participate in payroll process improvement projects, efficiencies, automation, and systems enhancements
* Payroll reconciliations and comparison reports
* Other ad-hoc payroll related duties as required
The ideal candidate will have:
* Ideally IPASS qualified or working towards
* At least 2 years' payroll experience
* Ability and track record of working to tight deadlines
* Thorough knowledge of Irish payroll processing
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills – fully fluent written and spoken English essential
* Team player with strong interpersonal skills
* Ability to take ownership of your role
