Accommodation Assistant required for Kiltipper Woods Care Centre, Kiltipper Road, Dublin 24 -Must have valid work permit for Ireland.
Kiltipper Woods Care Centre is a purpose-built facility established in 2004, providing high-quality specialist care services. Our services include care of the older person, younger persons with a disability, individuals living with Dementia/Alzheimers, as well as step‑down care, convalescence, and rehabilitation services. Due to continued expansion, we are currently seeking a Full‑Time Accommodation Assistant to join our team.
Role Overview
The Accommodation Assistant plays a key role in supporting the day‑to‑day operation of the care centre by ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This role incorporates both Housekeeping and Catering duties.
Key Responsibilities
* Daily cleaning of residents rooms and communal areas
* Correct use and safe storage of cleaning equipment and materials
* Receiving deliveries and storing goods appropriately
* Assisting with light kitchen duties
* Preparing and serving light meals and snacks
* Setting and maintaining dining areas
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Previous experience in cleaning and/or catering
* Food Hygiene training (desirable)
* Experience in a healthcare setting (desirable but not essential)
* A strong understanding of cleanliness, infection control, and hygiene standards
* Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently
* Excellent English language skills
* A valid work permit to work in Ireland
