Meeting & Events Executive role at The Hoxton, Dublin. The Hoxton is opening its first hotel in Ireland in Dublin, featuring 129 bedrooms, multiple dining outlets and a nightclub, with a focus on creating memorable hospitality experiences.
What you’ll do
* Managing the meetings and events enquiry process from start to finish, including answering calls and emails, sending proposals, converting enquiries and guiding events through planning and logistics to handover to operations.
* Negotiating meeting & events rates with clients in line with selling guidelines to help achieve revenue targets.
* Following up with clients post-event to gather feedback and secure repeat business where possible.
* Cross-selling across Hoxton and Ennismore properties to maximise revenue opportunities within corporate segments.
* Maintaining Opera Sales with new enquiries inputted into the system and distributing function sheets weekly for the operations meeting.
* Conducting show-rounds of the property and building strong client relationships for repeat business, including tracking year-on-year trends.
* Co-ordinating activities related to booked meeting & event business with other departments to meet client expectations.
* Maintaining Hoxton product and brand knowledge and upselling where possible.
* Handling daily, weekly, and monthly administration to ensure all groups have necessary documentation on file.
* Supporting the sales team with in-house marketing activities, familiarisation trips, client hospitality events, presentations, show rounds and promotional activities as required.
