The 5* InterContinental Dublin are currently recruiting for a
Lobby Lounge & Bar Manager
to manage the food and beverage operations (Lobby Lounge, Whiskey Bar, Reading Room) to ensure quality service and standards while delivering a guest experience that is unique.
The InterContinental Dublin (part of the MHL Hotel Collection) is located in the leafy suburbs of Ballsbridge, within close proximity to the RDS, Aviva Stadium and is on a frequently serviced bus & DART line.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Establish and achieve quality and guest satisfaction goals. Respond in a courteous and prompt manner to all guest questions, complaints and/or requests to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
* Manage day-to-day staffing requirements, plan and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve team member performance.
* Ensure hotel's standards, policies and procedures are complied with by all lobby lounge staff.
* Prepare weekly work schedules in accordance with staffing guidelines and labor forecasts. Adjust schedules throughout the week to meet the business needs and forecasted labor.
* Train staff in line with Hotel SOP's
* Manage local food and beverage marketing programmes for the hotel; participate in and maintain system-wide food and beverage marketing programmes and promotions. Monitor local competitors and industry trends. Review and approve menu design and concepts with Executive Chef.
* Conduct proper food and beverage inventory procedures. Determine minimum and maximum stocks for all food, beverage, material, and equipment.

The Ideal Candidate:
* At least 2 years experience working at a Senior Level in Restaurants/Hotel Restaurant
* Ability to work under pressure within a busy and demanding luxury hotel environment
* Good English language skills
* A cheerful personality with effective customer care awareness
* Both mid-week, weekends and shift work is required based on business levels
