Senior M&E Resident Engineer – Water
Opportunity for a seasoned Senior Resident Engineer with expertise in water treatment to join our team in a client-based role located in the West/North West region.
Due to ongoing contract awards, our global clients have a requirement for Senior Resident Engineers (M&E) to supervise water treatment plant upgrade projects in the Mayo/Galway area.
To be considered, you should demonstrate previous experience in either the design, construction, or commissioning of MEICA projects at typical water facilities, such as pumping stations and water treatment plants.
Key Requirements:
1. At least 10 years' postgraduate experience with 7 years' industry experience in site supervision, contract administration, and project management of MEICA works on water engineering projects.
2. A degree in a related discipline, such as mechanical or electrical engineering.
3. Knowledge of civil engineering works, mechanical & electrical works, design-build-operate projects, and project management.
4. Capable of writing clear and concise reports and keeping accurate works records.
5. Strong knowledge and experience of health and safety procedures and regulations.
6. Satisfactory knowledge of construction contracts, with experience in FIDIC and public works forms of contract advantageous but not essential.
7. A current and valid SafePass card and confined spaces training.
Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential to work effectively within a team environment.
