We are seeking a full time friendly and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to become a valued member of our team for the Christmas seasonIn the role of Sales Assistant, you will have a pivotal role in delivering outstanding customer service and guiding customers in uncovering their next beloved book. Your responsibilities will include aiding customers in locating books, providing recommendations, handling sales transactions efficiently, and ensuring the bookstore maintains a welcoming atmosphere.Key Responsibilities:Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm, making them feel welcome and valued.Provide expert advice and recommendations on books based on customers' interests.Process cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.Maintain a clean and organised sales floor, including restocking shelves and arranging displays.Answer customer inquiries and provide information about store promotions and events.Assist in receiving and shelving new book arrivals.Handle customer concerns or complaints with professionalism and care.Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain excellent customer service.Qualifications:Passion for books and a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers discover great reads.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus.Job Types: Full-time, Fixed termContract length: 6 weeksPay: Up to €13.50 per hourBenefits:Employee discountApplication question(s):Do you read?Experience:Sales: 1 year (required)Language:English (required)Work Location: In person
