ABOUT THE ROLE:
What You will Do:
* Understand the technical aspects of BMS and EPMS products and services.
* Providing technical support and guidance to clients during the sales process.
* Preparing and presenting proposals, quotations, and contracts to clients.
* Developing comprehensive bid proposals and presenting them to clients.
* Identifying new business opportunities and expanding the customer base.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
* Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for BMS and EPMS projects, including materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor services.
* Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.
* Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project requirements and estimates.
* Review project plans, specifications, and requirements to understand the scope and objectives.
* Conduct site visits to gather detailed information and assess existing conditions where required.
* Identify potential risks and challenges that may impact the project.
* Analyse historical data and industry trends to inform cost predictions.
* Collaborating with the technical team to ensure the sales strategy aligns with the company's technical capabilities.
* Conducting product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of BMS solutions.
ABOUT THE Person
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Minimum of 1-3 years of experience within the BMS or construction industry.
* Strong understanding of building management, and electrical power monitoring systems products, services and market trends
* Proficiency in estimating software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or equivalent.
* Strong sales acumen with the ability to close deals and meet sales targets.
* Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client needs and manage complex sales processes.
* Effective time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
