Job Position
The Accounts Assistant role requires a professional to support the finance department by ensuring timely and accurate execution of all financial tasks.
Main Responsibilities:
* Process stock dispatch from the system using batch numbers for efficient tracking
* Manage customer invoices, verify delivery costs, and issue monthly statements in a timely manner
* Credit control, maintain debtor ledgers, and ensure compliance with insurance requirements
* Prepare monthly sales reports, analyzing key metrics and providing insights
Requirements:
* A minimum 5-year experience in finance administration (AP/AR/general ledger) within a manufacturing or distribution environment
* Familiarity with stock flows, logistics, and landed cost verification for optimal supply chain management
* Proficiency in Excel and experience with Sage 200 ERP system for seamless data management
* Strong analytical skills, with ability to multitask and prioritize duties efficiently
