Role Overview
We are looking for qualified Master Diagnostic Technicians, either newly qualified or experienced, to work in our state-of-the-art facilities at our Bray campus. Our group operates over 80 vehicle bays, providing diverse experience with ICE, EV, Passenger, and LCV vehicles. We also offer structured training for career development.
Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues accurately.
* Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and computer-related problems.
* Complete service, warranty work, and technical reports to meet manufacturer standards.
* Perform full vehicle examinations and identify faults during workshops or road tests.
* Carry out repairs adhering to quality standards.
* Achieve efficiency and productivity targets.
* Maintain documentation and reporting procedures.
* Follow health and safety regulations.
* Support team spirit and departmental objectives.
* Maintain tools and equipment properly.
* Read and understand technical bulletins.
* Perform vehicle health checks and communicate findings to customers.
* Use DMS to record work and organize daily schedules.
* Coordinate parts requirements with the Parts department.
* Ensure quality and first-time fix standards.
* Discuss vehicle conditions and repairs with customers when necessary.
* Keep work areas clean and safe.
* Support and train apprentices.
* Meet targets for bonuses and professional development.
* Comply with health and safety standards.
Candidate Profile
* Qualified Master/Diagnostic Technician.
* Ability to work competently and organized.
* Experience in franchised dealerships preferred.
* Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
* Ability to work independently and deliver excellent customer service.
* Target-oriented and efficient in task completion.
* Computer literacy and familiarity with DMS.
* Full Irish/EU driving license.
* Punctual, proactive, and hardworking.
* Mentoring and coaching skills for apprentices.
