Candidates must be fully flexible as the role incorporates both midweek and weekend rostering.
Job Scope:
To assist the management team in daily operations of the store, responsible for day-to-day running in absence of management.
Responsibilities:
* In absence of management, open and close store, end of day recovery, deliveries, stock management and cashing up.
* Assign tasks to staff and ensure correct procedures followed.
* Ensure every customer gets personal and positive service experience.
* Fully knowledgeable about product catalogue and current promotions.
* Engage with customers to offer best products for their needs and optimise sales.
* Lead by example in implementing and maintaining excellent Visual merchandising standards using tools provided.
* Use Assisted Selling, Safesize, e-receipts, radio systems etc.
* Coordinate and forward cash, stock, financial reports and administration.
* Responsible for daily deliveries and adequate stock management procedures.
* End of day recovery carried out completely and to standard set by Company.
* Carry out other retail duties expected of all staff e.g. sales, customer experience, recovery, deliveries, etc.
* Operate till and handle financial transactions.
* Deliver great last impression to customers.
* Be security conscious within store and stock rooms – monitor potential shoplifters and follow security guidelines.
* Back-up call out person in event of alarm activation.
