Metal FabricatorThompson Project Management Limited, a growing company in Carlow, Ireland, is seeking a full-time Metal Fabricator to join our team. We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented individual to play a key role in our projects. If you have experience in cutting, shaping, and assembling metal structures, we want to hear from you.The RoleAs a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for creating and repairing metal structures of various sizes. You'll work with a variety of tools and equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts with precision.Key Responsibilities:Fabricate and assemble metal structures from raw materials.Cut metal pieces using a gas torch and electric arc.Clean and smooth metal surfaces and joints to ensure a high-quality finish.Repair and modify existing metal structures and components.Select and use appropriate tools and equipment for each task.About YouThe ideal candidate will be a skilled fabricator with a strong work ethic.Required Skills & Experience:A minimum of 2 years of experience in metal fabrication or a related trade.Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics (this is a key skill for fabricators, so it's good to include).Experience with various metal-cutting equipment and techniques.A commitment to producing high-quality work.Compensation & LocationSalary: €30,000 per year.Hours: 39 hours per week, full-time.Location: New Acre, Athy Road, Carlow, Ireland.Job Type: Full-timePay: €30,000.00-€35,000.00 per yearAbility to commute/relocate:Carlow, County Carlow: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience:Heavy Fabrication: 2 years (required)Licence/Certification:Metal Fabrication Qualification (required)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In personApplication deadline: 21/10/2025
