Job Description:

1. As a Financial Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing customer transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in posting to our financial system. You will also reconcile customer accounts to guarantee correct allocation of payments.
2. You will follow up on overdue payments, issue reminders, and resolve payment disputes professionally. Additionally, you will assist with the preparation of monthly debtor reports and contribute to the month-end close process.
3. You will support the implementation and maintenance of credit control policies and procedures, collaborate with teams such as Sales and Customer Support to clarify and resolve internal queries, and maintain and build strong working relationships with customers, couriers, and internal teams.
4. You will update customer records in our financial system, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and communicate necessary changes to relevant teams to maintain data integrity.
5. Lastly, you will handle general office duties including telephone calls, emails, and document updates.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. We are looking for an individual with 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or finance administration roles.
2. You should have a strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, credit control, and account reconciliation.
3. You must possess excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in financial recordkeeping, data entry, and reconciliation tasks.
4. A proficiency in Excel is also required.
5. Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines are essential.
