Water Treatment Plant Operator Job Summary
The Water Treatment Plant Operator will work in the Clare region, requiring a good understanding of the water treatment process. This multi-disciplined role involves routine operational duties, maintenance tasks, and process monitoring.
Proficiency in IT/computers is essential, with full training provided. The role includes weekend work, bank holiday work, and participation in a regular standby and call-out rota.
As a Water Treatment Plant Operator, you will be responsible for:
* Routine operational duties to ensure the smooth operation of the water treatment plant
* Maintenance tasks to ensure the plant is operating at optimal levels
* Process monitoring and record-keeping to track the plant's performance
* Basic mechanical maintenance and repair to address any issues that may arise
Good reading English skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, computer literacy, and analytical problem-solving skills are required. A willingness to learn and be challenged in the water and waste-water industry is essential.
The treatment process is fully automated, with a comprehensive control system. You will be working as part of a team to maintain and improve the water treatment plant's processes and systems.
