Position Overview
The Global ESG Lead's primary responsibility is to further develop and expand upon the company’s current Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) strategy. Working closely with the ARI Executive team, this is a high profile and key role within the organisation, providing the opportunity to positively impact our global locations over the coming years.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop, implement, and evolve key strategic ESG initiatives across all areas of business operations and across our global estate.
2. Ensure compliance with all relevant Corporate Environmental, Social, and Governance regulations and standards.
3. Focus on measuring and reporting key ESG metrics in line with the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the requirements of the UN Global Compact.
4. Collaborate with ESG Champions in each location and the daa Group Sustainability and ESG team to achieve group targets.
Qualifications
This role is expected to evolve over time as we navigate the changing ESG agenda. It will suit someone who is adaptable to change, is a high achiever, and has the personal drive and determination to push the ESG agenda across our global business. You will need to be a self-starter and have excellent personal initiative with the ability to work across different organisational levels, countries, and cultures. Most importantly, you need to be genuinely passionate about ESG and Sustainability issues, with a proven track record of successful implementation and delivery of relevant ESG strategies in a similar environment.
