Join us as an Indirect Tax Senior Analyst.
You will have first-line responsibility for all Ireland VAT compliance processes.
This role reports to the VAT Manager and supports the in-house tax department during a maternity leave period.
Responsibilities

Demonstrate what you can do.
Direct and enhance the VAT compliance cycle supported by a tax analyst.
VAT3/Intrastat/VIES/RCT and associated commentaries.
Act as contact hub for internal stakeholders, such as Finance, Marketing, Accounts Payable and other areas of the business.
Ensure ongoing systems compliance with ECJ rulings and changes in Irish VAT law and practice.
Drive continuous improvement and support Revenue Interventions and tax audits as they arise.
Processes
Detect and highlight areas of challenge and propose effective solutions.
Implement, evaluate, and improve compliance controls, creating supporting documentation where appropriate.
Technology
Maintain a "Digital First" mindset with a focus on compliance processes, procedures, and efficiencies.
Assist the business and the global tax team with support on system implementations including business initiatives, new product launches, and Vida.
Requirements, Knowledge and Experience

Qualified (part-qualified considered) CTA/ AITI professional with an accounting qualification or relevant experience is an advantage.
Minimum 2 years' experience in practice or a large company with strong VAT technical and practical experience.
Highly tech-literate; data analytics tools experience is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and time management.
Team player with strong written and oral communication skills, flexible and comfortable with a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated with excellent organisational and project management skills.
Experience with an ERP system.
Very strong MS Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Ability to develop solid working relationships.
