**Matrimonial Legal Secretary Role**
We are seeking a skilled Matrimonial Legal Secretary to provide dedicated secretarial support to family/matrimonial solicitors in a collaborative team setting. The successful candidate will have experience in a matrimonial or family law setting, strong typing skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support to family/matrimonial solicitors
* Prepare legal documentation including divorce petitions, affidavits, court bundles, and correspondence
* Handle confidential client communication and maintain detailed file notes
* Audiotyping/digital dictation and accurate document production
* Diary management, court listings, and booking counsel or experts
* Liaise with courts, social services, and third parties
**Requirements:**
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Legal secretarial experience in a matrimonial or family law setting
* Strong typing skills (audiotyping/digital dictation essential)
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Confident managing emotionally sensitive matters and distressed clients
* Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
* Experience using legal case management systems
