Receptionist/Clerical Officer
Please note this role is 5 days/week on site in Dublin City centre.
Role Overview
The Receptionist / Clerical Officer will be a key front-facing member of the team, responsible for managing reception duties and supporting internal operations. The role requires professionalism, sound judgment, and flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
* Reception & Communication:
o Operate the telephone switchboard: answer, transfer calls, take messages, and provide information.
o Greet members, committee members, and visitors professionally, ensuring compliance with the Visitor Policy.
* Query Management:
o Log queries received via phone, email, in-person, or portal.
o Ensure queries are accurately recorded and forwarded to the appropriate department.
* Mail & Deliveries:
o Handle incoming and outgoing post and in-house deliveries.
o Check and distribute incoming correspondence throughout the day.
* Logistics Support:
o Book couriers and taxis as needed.
* Membership Assistance:
o Support the Membership team with calls, emails, and packing tasks as required.
