Position Overview
We seek a plan-driven Project Manager with proven, hands‑on experience delivering agentic AI projects (not just theoretical knowledge). You will lead Agentic AI + MCP initiatives using classical (waterfall) project management—WBS, Gantt, EVM, formal change control—while managing AI engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management (Classical)
Lead end-to-end waterfall/hybrid agentic AI projects from conception to closure.
Create WBS, Gantt charts (CPM), and specifications (Agent Capability Matrix, MCP Tool Registry).
Monitor progress via Plan vs. Actual and Earned Value Management (CPI/SPI).
Manage agentic AI–specific risks: goal misalignment, token cost blowouts, MCP downtime, unsafe tool calls.
Implement formal change control for scope/timeline/budget.
Coordinate internal AI engineers and third‑party MCP vendors.
Organizational Leadership
Lead and hold accountable ML engineers, MCP developers, and safety testers.
Manage team capacity across multiple agent projects.
Conduct performance evaluations based on delivery and baseline adherence.
Process & Meeting Management
Run milestone reviews, change control boards, and daily stand‑ups.
Maintain task boards, production readiness checklists, and documentation wikis.
Requirements
Mandatory: Proven Agentic AI Experience
Must have delivered at least one agentic AI project in production or pilot (e.g., autonomous customer support agent, multi‑agent workflow, tool‑using LLM system).
Must be able to describe in interview: agent architecture (ReAct, planner‑executor, etc.), tools used, how you handled non‑determinism, safety guardrails implemented, and lessons learned from failures.
Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) is highly preferred but not mandatory—agentic AI without MCP still qualifies.
Classical PM Expertise
5+ years project management.
Bachelor’s degree in one of the following or related fields: Business Administration, Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Operations Management, Project Management.
Expert in WBS, Gantt, CPM, EVM (CPI/SPI), formal change control.
PMP or PRINCE2 advantageous.
