What you’ll do
It’s an exciting time to join us as we build a new Trust & Safety team. As a Trust & Safety Analyst, you’ll be a key driver in our proactive efforts to maintain a secure and trustworthy platform. You will not only monitor user activity and enforce policies, but also leverage advanced tooling to identify and mitigate emerging threats. You’ll conduct initial investigations into reported activity, analyze data for trends, and provide detailed findings that support our broader team objectives. This role requires developing proficiency and the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional partners to uphold the integrity of our platform and brand. This role will involve responding to incidents as part of an on‑call rotation.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, Trust & Safety.
Responsibility
* Conduct investigations of reported incidents and suspicious user behavior, gathering and documenting evidence to support case resolution
* Monitor user activity and platform transactions to detect and prevent fraudulent activities, policy violations, and brand‑damaging content or behavior
* Monitor for and investigate intellectual property infringement, trademark misuse, and other activities that could harm the brand's reputation and integrity
* Assist in the analysis of safety data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, contributing to a deeper understanding of on‑platform and off‑platform risk
* Collaborate with internal teams, including Customer Support, Engineering, and Legal, to address and resolve trust and safety‑related issues
* Adhere to established guidelines and procedures for policy enforcement and investigations, ensuring consistency and fairness
* Contribute to the refinement of trust and safety policies and procedures by providing feedback based on investigations, feature abuse and user behavior analysis
What you bring
Basic
* Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Criminal Justice, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, or equivalent work experience
* 2+ years of experience in trust and safety, fraud detection, or a related field, preferably in a tech environment
* Experience analyzing information, identifying suspicious activity, and documenting findings clearly
* Experience with relevant laws and regulations related to fraud and cybersecurity
* Experience working independently on assigned tasks and managing multiple priorities
Preferred
* Demonstrated a high level of integrity and ethical standards in all aspects of work
* Familiarity with data analysis and reporting, including basic knowledge of data query languages like SQL
* Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions within defined guidelines
* Strong problem‑solving skills and sound judgment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
