* To ensure company procedures and protocols are implemented.

* To ensure that all projects are completed on site in a safe and responsible manner.
* To ensure that company equipment is inspected, tested & certified in a timely fashion and in accordance with current legislation.
KEY AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
* To work on your own initiative and confidently plan your working week to suit the workload, prioritising tasks as required.
* To work alongside senior management ensuring that day to day activities are carried out in a safe manner.
* To ensure swift turnaround of customer paperwork ensuring zero delays on site & client satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
* Completing detailed site specific Lift Plans & RAMS for issue to clients on site. Ensuring paperwork is issued to FCH operatives prior to site arrival for review.
* Develop, implement, and manage the company's health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices.
* Conduct regular health and safety risk assessments and audits across the company to identify hazards and implement corrective measures.
* Ensure all employees receive proper health and safety training and are aware of their responsibilities regarding workplace safety.
* Maintaining personnel and equipment certificates on file and ensuring same are updated following personnel training / equipment certification.
* Investigate and report on any accidents, incidents, or near-misses, and ensure appropriate actions are taken to prevent reoccurrence.
* Maintain accurate health and safety records, including incident reports, inspection logs, and training documentation.
* Ensure the availability, proper use of and register of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment issued to employees.
* Develop reporting tools to identify and track all H&S issues.
* Assisting with Council permit applications and TM Plan requests.
* Completing registration of Safe-T-Cert and annual upkeep of same.
* Ensuring employee training & Medical certs are up to date and company files are updated with new certifications.
* Registering employees for site inductions and ensuring required certifications are submitted to client in good time.
* Ensuring periodic audits are scheduled and carried out on lifting accessories carried on cranes and within stores on site.
* Annual review and renewal of company safety statement.
* Completing contractor pre-qualifications.
* Ensuring fire safety equipment is in place and inspected on all cranes / equipment / yard(s) / workshop / offices.
* To be flexible and able to comply with company and client requirements.
* To be confident and able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a management team.
* To have the desire to learn and develop within the role and the company.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
* Minimum 3 years experience and a proven track record in a similar role.
* Previous experience with Lift Plan / RAMS preparation.
* Valid Irish driving licence (Category B).
* Good knowledge & understanding of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
Desirable, but not essential:
* Experience with AutoCAD software.
* Appointed Person Training.
