Claims Professional
This is a permanent role that requires direct reporting to the Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage claims including notifications, post-processing, and phone calls.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and reporting obligations.
* Accurately record all notifications, reserve amendments, and payments within deadlines.
* Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting for insurers.
* Establish effective communication channels with stakeholders to deliver excellent claims service.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 1 year experience in claims handling.
* Hold APA or grandfathered status (working towards CIP is desirable).
* Strong knowledge of underwriting principles, claims regulations, and motor legislation.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills.
* Ability to work independently with a structured approach.
