Role overview
This role is to work directly with the senior leadership to to develop and direct an HR agenda that closely supports the functions objectives.
Ensuring we have a strong foundation of HR and People interventions coupled with providing HR advice and guidance to business areas which enables them to deliver optimum performance through their people.
Key tasks
To partner with agreed business areas to provide a holistic HR service that helps drive business performance through effective people solutions.
To understand the organisation's strategy and goals, understanding our people demographics, the culture JLA is operating within and developing people solutions that help achieve the business and functional objectives.
To provide support to the Head of HR in developing People Plans for each business unit and ensure these are delivered in a timely manner.
Responsible for planning and mapping change, by understanding the needs of the business and likely outcomes, as well as measuring the potential impact of people solutions.
Ensuring that you keep up to date with market developments and thought leadership on management and HR, sharing your insight and knowledge with the wider HR Team.
As part of the HR Team, develop and deliver HR Development workshops, as part of the team effort to create a library of bespoke workshops which are stored centrally, ensuring we have well documented session plans, and collateral available.
Ensuring this is updated in line with new legislation and thinking with an aim of ensuring our material is current and relevant.
To provide support with HR projects as and when required.
Service Delivery

Ensuring you set a culture of excellent customer service ensuring the basics are right every time and understand that service is central to good performance.
Managing Risk
Awareness of your operational and regulation risks which may impact on your role
Responsibility for reporting to your line manager any risk which may impact the business
