Role Profile We have an opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join Tirln within the Milk Finance Centre of Excellence team, based in Abbey Quarter, Kilkenny, and reporting to the Financial Accountant.
The purpose of this role is to support the milk payments process, process deductions to supplier accounts, reporting, including the accurate and timely delivery of statements to suppliers on a monthly basis.
The Milk Centre of Excellence is responsible for managing all aspects of supplier milk payments, supplier analytics & statistics (including support to milk forecasting function) and delivery of all Innovative new supplier initiatives (including supplier financial solutions).
Responsibilities Reporting and analysis of Milk volumes Processing of third party deductions Process payment of milk deductions to the appropriate third party service provider.
File regular returns for various statutory and industry bodies.
Processing of outputs to suppliers including invoices, statements and remittances.
Upload supplier statements to online Supplier portal (Tirlan Farmlife).
Support accurate and on-time payments to milk suppliers on a bi-monthly basis Other valuation and payment processing requirements for Milk Co E Liaise with Milk Pool Development in connection with milk adjustments and deductions from suppliers Support management in executing ad hoc reporting and analysis Requirements Proven or similar experience in a finance admin / assistant role Part qualified accountantor pursuing business /accountingexams desirable Excellent MSskills including good command of Excel Knowledge of accounting systems is desirable Exceptional analytical skills; detail oriented and well organized Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
