Location: Roscommon, IrelandSalary: €50,000 per annumCar Allowance: €2,500 per annumOn-Call Allowance: €1,000 per annum (1 week in 4, rare call outs)Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (1 hour lunch)About the RoleEnergies Align is working with our client, a well-established and fast-growing company in the industrial renewable/process sector, to hire a Site Maintenance Planner for their facility based in Roscommon.This position is designed to strengthen the plant's maintenance strategy, contractor coordination, and operational monitoring. The company is currently undergoing significant growth, with plans to double the size of the site and bring several new plants online in the near future.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor plant performance via SCADA systems and proactively identify issues such as system faults, pressure anomalies, and equipment alerts.Liaise with engine maintenance contractors for scheduled servicing, troubleshooting, and resolution of mechanical issues.Develop and maintain the facility's preventative maintenance plan, including procedures, part replacements, and documentation.Manage tracking and ordering of critical spare parts for mechanical plant systems (e.g., pumps, mixers, motors, valves).Coordinate closely with internal operations staff to support daily plant performance and reliability.Ensure procedures and contractor activities meet operational and safety standards.Contribute to operational readiness and planning for upcoming site expansion.Participate in a light on-call rota (1 week in every 4, rarely required).Candidate ProfileQualifications:Engineering degree (mechanical/process/electrical) with 1+ year experienceOR 5–6 years experience as a technician in a process, utilities, or manufacturing environmentStrong working knowledge of plant equipment such as pumps, mixers, gearboxes, and associated mechanical systemsExperience with SCADA or process monitoring systemsUnderstanding of industrial engine/generator systems is an advantageProven ability to coordinate contractors, write procedures, and maintain maintenance schedulesExcellent communication and organisational skillsComfortable working with Excel and basic maintenance tracking toolsFull driving licence requiredJob Type: PermanentPay: €50,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
