Assistant Operations Manager
This is a hands-on position where you will oversee day-to-day operations, manage schedules, coordinate with clients, and ensure the maintenance of equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient processes and alignment with business objectives.
* Manage and maintain schedules to complete tasks and projects on time and to the required standard.
* Coordinate with clients and external partners for clear communication and smooth project execution.
* Monitor project progress, making adjustments as necessary for timely and high-quality delivery.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, promoting a safe working environment.
* Optimize resource allocation to effectively use materials, equipment, and manpower.
* Assist in equipment maintenance to ensure machinery and tools are properly maintained and operational.
* Provide leadership and support to team members to achieve individual and collective operational goals.
* Handle day-to-day problem-solving, resolving operational issues promptly and efficiently.
* Work closely with senior management to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase productivity.
Requirements
* Experience in operations management, project coordination, or a related field.
* Knowledge in equipment maintenance and safety compliance.
* Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate teams effectively.
* Excellent communication and client coordination skills for smooth interactions with stakeholders.
* Proficiency in resource allocation, scheduling, and project management tools.
* Ability to work independently and make informed, effective decisions under pressure.
* Construction industry experience is an advantage but not essential.
