We're exclusively partnered with a fast-growing Dublin-based Microsoft Partner & MSP seeking a
Senior Technical Support Azure Engineer L3
to lead Azure management, cloud migrations, and advanced infrastructure projects for a diverse client base. This is a hands-on senior engineering role with significant project delivery and client-facing responsibility — ideal for an Azure expert who also brings strong Level 3 MSP support experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Azure Delivery & Management
* Design, build, and optimise Azure environments, including hybrid setups and cloud migrations
* Implement advanced services across identity & access management, governance, automation, and cost optimisation
* Deliver secure environments using MFA, Conditional Access, Defender, and Sentinel
Project Ownership
* Lead client onboarding, infrastructure upgrades, and migrations from scoping through go-live
* Act as a technical consultant, producing roadmaps and clear solution recommendations
Infrastructure & Networking
* Perform server builds and virtualisation projects (Hyper-V / VMware)
* Configure networking (VLANs, VPNs, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi deployments)
* Manage firewalls, routers, VPNs, edge security, and switching environments
Escalation & MSP Operations
* Provide Tier 3 escalation support and technical leadership to the service desk
* Maintain documentation, ensure standards, and contribute to MSP tooling/process improvement
You must have the following Experience:
* 5–7+ years of hands-on IT support within an MSP or IT services environment, including client-facing project delivery
* Deep expertise in
Azure design, migrations, automation, governance, and day-to-day operations
* Strong technical skills across
Microsoft 365
, Azure AD / Entra ID, Endpoint Manager - Intune, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and core network protocols
* Experience managing
routers, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, switches, and VOIP solutions
* Solid history of delivering infrastructure projects, cloud migrations, and upgrades in dynamic business environments
* Skilled in Windows Server administration and L3 troubleshooting across complex environments
* Ability to diagnose and resolve challenging technical issues under pressure
* Experience with
Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations
, compliance policies, and security features is a significant advantage
* Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with business stakeholders and technical teams
* Comfortable taking full ownership of projects from scoping through delivery
* Microsoft Certifications especially on Azure are required
