Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and practical individual to join our team as a Locksmith / Handy Person. This is a hands-on role suitable for someone with general handy man, carpentry, mechanical, or similar experience who is eager to learn and develop locksmithing skills.
Responsibilities
* Assist with key cutting, lock repairs, replacements, and installations
* Carry out on-site work including door adjustments, fitting locks, and general security hardware installation
* Respond to customer call-outs in a professional and timely manner
* Troubleshoot and solve practical issues relating to locks and fittings
* Maintain tools, equipment, and a tidy working environment
* Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction
Requirements
* Previous experience in handy work, carpentry, mechanical work, or a related trade
* Strong practical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to use tools safely and effectively
* Full driver's licence (preferred)
* Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused
* Willingness to learn locksmithing skills (training provided)
