Our services for children and their families cover all aspects of a child's physical, educational, and social development from early infancy through adolescence. We are currently seeking highly‑motivated Staff/Enhanced Nurse (RIND) to join our team in Enable Ireland Adult Services, Nenagh, Co Tipperary.
Contract type: Full Time Permanent Contract.
Annual leave entitlement: 33 days pro rata per annum.
Staff Nurse: €37,060 to €54,111 pro rata per annum, subject to LSI’s (Long Service Increments). Enhanced Nurse: €43,206 to €56,956 pro rata per annum, subject to LSI’s (Long Service Increments). Pay scale subject to increases in 2026 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations.
Overview of the Post
The Staff / Enhanced Nurse works as part of a team within the adult day service to facilitate service owners with their daily programmes. This includes providing nursing duties, assisting personal care needs, mobility, and supporting access to services in their community and on our virtual day service. The post holder encourages and supports opportunities to help develop a range of options for service owners in line with their person‑centred plan.

The successful candidate will have:
Have a nursing RNID qualification validated for working in the Republic of Ireland.
Be registered in the Intellectual Disability Nurse Division of the live Register of Nurses kept by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
One year 16 weeks relevant nursing work experience after graduating (to be eligible for Enhanced Nurse role).
Confirm annual registration with the NMBI to enable Ireland.
Maintain annual registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Have the clinical and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
Full clean driver’s licence and willingness to drive service transport.
Basic IT skills.
Experience working with adults in a day service setting.
One year’s experience working with adults with disabilities.
Experience of working in a community setting.
