Applications are invited for the Permanent position of Senior Clinical Engineer in St. Vincent's Private Hospital.
Essential Criteria
A Recognised Degree/Diploma in Biomedical Engineering (or similar)
Basic electrical/electronic skills enabling assembly, disassembly and adjustment of medical equipment
Previous hospital experience and/or health services work
Ability to fault find on medical equipment
Excellent computer skills
Excellent professional, technical and communication skills are a prerequisite
Good communication
Desirable
Registered with the Institute of Engineers of Ireland
Good understanding of patient critical medical equipment
Strong communications, organisational and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressures and meet deadlines
