Hospital Pharmacist Permanent Part-Time | 17.5 hours per week Location: North Dublin (Dublin 3) We are currently recruiting for a Hospital Pharmacist on behalf of a well-established acute hospital in North Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, dynamic pharmacy team supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care.
The successful candidate will assist in the management of pharmacy services within the hospital, ensuring a safe and efficient medication distribution service while supporting the smooth operation of the dispensary and contributing to clinical pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure pharmacy services are delivered across all hospital departments.
Support the delivery of clinical pharmacy services and safe medication management.
Assist with the operation of the dispensary, ensuring safe and efficient drug distribution.
Take responsibility for the pharmacy department in the absence of the Senior Pharmacist (Chief II).
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient care.
Requirements Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the following criteria: Be a registered Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) or be entitled to be registered.
Possess the requisite knowledge, clinical competence, and management ability required to perform the duties of the role.
Demonstrate a high standard of professional suitability and ability to work effectively within a hospital environment.
Community Pharmacy experience is considered.
