Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be a key member of the finance team, involved in product costing, planning and forecasting, audit compliance, policies & procedures and support of month end close for the sites.
The financial analyst is responsible for providing high-quality financial analysis, anticipating financial impacts, developing and delivering financial presentations to site management and working across sites. Technical skills related to cost accounting and project reporting are highly valued.
1. Work closely with operations and other support functions as a business partner, with strong integration into the business.
2. Prepare and coordinate annual plan and quarterly forecast submissions.
3. Support, maintain and enforce site financial control requirements (aligned with Ireland and corporate financial policies).
4. Analyse and review manufacturing variances such as PPV, MUV and distressed inventory.
5. Prepare, submit and present monthly reporting submissions to division, entity and site management.
6. Contribute to site strategy projects/annual improvement priorities/lean sigma projects.
7. Manage and track the site gross margin improvement programme.
8. Provide financial stewardship to the site through site spend management, financial awareness sessions etc.
9. Support capital planning, requests for capital expenditure and capital/project expense monitoring.
10. Ensure accuracy of the fixed asset register at all times, ensuring new assets are capitalized and old assets disposed of on a timely basis.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in finance, business or accounting and ACA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent accountancy qualification.
* A minimum of 2 years of progressive finance/accounting experience.
* Experience with cost accounting, standard setting, financial planning & analysis.
* Working knowledge of Dodeca, HFM and SAP (Symphony) is preferred.
