Health and Safety Officer
Job Summary:
This role is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of employees on construction sites in Wicklow. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety and leadership.
* Key Responsibilities:
o Provide health and safety inductions to new employees
o Prepare site paperwork, including Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, Inductions, and Toolbox Talks
o Conduct regular inspections and audits
o Closing out issues with site management
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A relevant recognised EHS qualification
* 3-5 years' experience in construction safety
* Strong leadership qualities
* Excellent organisational skills, report writing, and records maintenance
