Group Finance Director Role
Our client is a leading global tech innovator in the connectivity and analytics space, seeking a strategic and driven Group Finance Director to assist with leading finance through the next phase of growth, transformation, and regulatory evolution. This is a high-impact role within a fast-moving, international business at the cutting edge of IoT.
The ideal candidate will be instrumental in shaping financial governance, consolidations, and building scalable processes to support global expansion and future PLC-style reporting. Responsibilities include:
* Lead financial reporting and governance across the group, ensuring full alignment with IFRS, CSRD, and evolving regulatory standards.
* Oversight of tax strategy and compliance, managing cross-border VAT, transfer pricing, and international tax risks.
* Leadership of the treasury function, ensuring effective liquidity management, risk mitigation, and collaboration with banking partners.
Achieving high-quality, timely financial reporting and analysis for senior stakeholders and strategic partners is essential. The successful candidate will also partner with FP&A and Commercial Finance to boost performance, sharpen forecasts, and drive profitability.
Key qualifications include:
* Qualified accountant (ACA) with strong post-qualification experience in financial control, tax, and treasury.
* Big Four background and experience in high-growth, multinational, or listed companies strongly preferred.
* Deep technical expertise in IFRS, corporate tax, VAT, and transfer pricing across multiple jurisdictions.
* Hands-on treasury experience including cash flow, hedging, and liquidity risk management.
Proven leadership skills and ability to influence at executive level are crucial. A strategic mindset with agility to operate both at high level and in detail is also required.
