Job Overview
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment in designated facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the general operation, repair and maintenance of electrical and lighting systems.
* Perform new installations of equipment and ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Inspect, repair and replace functional components of electrical and lighting systems, including valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores and pipes.
Ensure that all equipment is maintained and operated in a safe and efficient manner.
Requirements:
* Completion of a formal apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
* Meet the physical demands of this role, including standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
