The Ennis Lions Club are holding their Annual Christmas Food Appeal / collections and are looking for support. All funds raised along with food hampers will be going to local families in need before Christmas. They are holding the Food Appeal over 3 days starting the 5th, 6th and 7th Dec. The outlets are Tesco & Dunnes Stores both Ennis based. Volunteers will be sitting at a table or standing with a trolley encouraging people to purchase one or more non perishable items or to make a donation to families in need. Volunteers will be issued with hi viz and asked to do 2 hours anytime from 9am to 6pm and they will be fully supported at all times by a representative of the Lions Club. The Fundraising Manager will play a key role in helping OCD Ireland grow its capacity to reach and support people affected by OCD and related conditions across Ireland.
Tasks will include:
* Developing and coordinating fundraising initiatives (e.g., community events, campaigns, online appeals).

Fundraiser for Street Collection in Tralee November 28th
Volunteers required to help out at the annual street collection in aid of Recovery Haven Kerry-Cancer Support House in Tralee. The collection takes place on Friday November 28th and Volunteers are asked to take part for 2 hour slots if possible.
The RNLI has a network of local fundraising teams organising a wide range of activities and events which last year raised £14 million to save lives at sea. Each team is supported by a Community Manager, although the range and frequency of fundraising events is determined by the team members themselves.
The impact you will make
You will enable volunteer RNLI lifeboat crews to save lives at sea by carrying out and supporting vital fundraising activity in your local community.
What you will be doing
* Taking part in and supporting fundraising events and activities throughout the year.
* Attending meetings and collaborating with other volunteers.
* Suggesting, promoting and implementing ideas to raise funds.
* Developing an understanding of the work of the RNLI and being a positive ambassador and advocate.
* Encouraging and welcoming new members and supporters into the RNLI, driving our One Crew ethos.
