Job Title: Service Manager
The successful candidate will oversee the operation of a residential service for children with disabilities. This involves ensuring that residents receive high-quality care and support, meeting HIQA standards and implementing Talbot Group policies and procedures. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage staff and coordinate appointments with multi-disciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall operation of the service, ensuring compliance with regulations and implementation of best practices in disability services.
- Supervise and mentor staff, conducting regular appraisals and team meetings.
- Coordinate appointments with multi-disciplinary teams and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Develop and implement person-centered care plans to ensure residents have a high quality of life, promoting their independence and choice.
Requirements:
- A QQI Level 7 Degree in Social Care or a relevant Allied Healthcare discipline.
- Minimum three years' experience in a management or supervisory role in the Health or Social Care sector.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
