We want to make a positive impact on the world, and we will support our suppliers and customers to make a difference too.Reporting to the Trading Manager, the trading assistant will be responsible for providing administration support to a group of Trading Managers.Day to day the role will include the collation, verifying and presentation of information to a set deadline and set standard, ensuring great attention to detail. This role will support a group of Trading Managers and will involve interfacing with suppliers, retailers and internal customers. The majority of the work will be office based with the occasional requirement to visit stores as and when required. This is a great opportunity for someone to gain exposure to buyers within a busy retail environment and learn about trading operationsWhat you'll be doing:Provide comprehensive administration supportCollation, verifying and presentation of informationTimely and accurate processing of dataGather, coordinate and maintain all key trading information from suppliers or any other source on behalf of designated trading managers.Proactive resolution of supplier pricing queries/range cleansingBuild effective cross functional relationships to enhance service deliveryEnsure adherence to company policy and calendar deadlinesAct as focal interface on behalf of trading for retailer related activity/outputsCollation of retailer bulletin information and communications as requiredCRM query resolution from inception to conclusion on behalf of Trading Managers on all product and services queries.Analyse, review and suggest improvement to ways of working to reduce CRM queriesWork effectively with Trading Managers to ensure smooth running of promotional activities and the transfer of key dataAccuracy of Pricing FilesWhat we are looking for:A min. of 1 year of working in a busy working environmentExperience working to tight deadlines whilst ensuring accuracy of outputExperience of using databases and working with high volumes of dataStrong working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPointExcellent Time Management skillsAccuracy and attention to detailAbility to develop and maintain cross functional working relationshipsCan do attitude with the ability to embrace changeStrong communication skillsWhat is nice to have:A-level or 3rd level qualification (business or commercial related)Previous administration experience within a trading or retail environmentWhat we Offer or Why Musgrave:Career Development:With a commitment to your personal and professional growth, Musgrave offers numerous opportunities for advancement and learning.Collaborative Environment:Work alongside a passionate team, where your contributions will make a significant impactInnovation Focus:Be part of a company that values forward-thinking solutionsCommunity Focus: Be part of a company that truly values its communities and strives to make a positive impact.Be Part of a Legacy: Join a company with a long-standing commitment to community and innovation.Musgrave is an equal opportunities employer.
