Role Overview
This position plays a pivotal role in fostering the holistic development of pre-school and after-school children, prioritizing their wellbeing, learning, and growth in line with Aistear and Siolta frameworks.
Responsibilities:
* Lead daily activities designed to promote each child's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth.
* Develop creative programmes tailored to meet individual needs, encouraging every child to thrive and reach their full potential.
* Maintain strong relationships with parents and families, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and caring environment for all.
* Promote effective communication and collaboration among team members, working towards shared goals and objectives.
Requirements:
* Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification (QQI Level 7 or higher).
* At least two years' experience working directly with pre-school children in an early years setting, demonstrating ability to create engaging environments and foster positive relationships.
* Excellent understanding of underlying principles in early years education, including Aistear and Siolta.
* Candidates must possess initiative, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in empowering young children and their families.
* Outstanding organisational, communication, interpersonal, and listening skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
