As a Senior Revit Technician, you will play a key role in the development and delivery of high-quality Revit models and technical documentation.
You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and BIM managers to ensure coordinated and efficient workflows throughout the design and construction phases of a project.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the production and coordination of Revit models and technical drawings for a variety of project types.
Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, both internally and with external consultants.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with relevant BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650, PAS 1192).
Support project delivery through all design stages from concept to construction documentation.
Mentor junior technicians and contribute to best practice in modelling and drawing production.
Participate in project BIM coordination meetings and clash detection reviews.
Maintain and develop Revit families, templates, and content libraries in line with company standards.
Assist in the development and enforcement of BIM protocols, standards, and quality control procedures.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in a Revit Technician or BIM Technician role, ideally in a senior capacity.
Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit is essential.
Familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM360 / ACC, and other Autodesk tools desirable.
Strong technical understanding of architectural or engineering detailing and construction methods.
Proven experience working on medium to large-scale projects across different sectors.
Knowledge of Irish and UK building regulations and construction practices.
Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and time management.
Ability to lead or manage a small team of technicians when required.
A relevant qualification in architectural technology, engineering, or a related discipline.
