Financial Leadership Role
The ideal candidate will provide financial leadership, oversee ERP implementation, ensure accurate reporting and account management, and act as the key financial contact for the senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage daily finance operations to optimize efficiency.
2. Ensure timely payment of suppliers and implement cost-effective strategies.
3. Prepare accounts for auditor review and approval.
4. Develop and manage invoice systems for streamlined processing.
5. Create/Monitor/Report weekly/monthly dashboards showing operational performance for SLT.
6. Design projects to replace manual processes with automated systems, enhancing productivity.
7. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analyses for informed decision-making.
8. Collaborate with buying teams to maximize GP potential through seasonal supplier budgeting.
9. Manage labor budget planning and execution.
10. Drive the quarter-end process for accurate financial reporting.
11. Liaise with colleagues to ensure accurate financial reporting across all areas of responsibility.
12. Ensure Balance Sheet accounts are accurate, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
13. Provide commentary on Balance Sheet/P&L variance to budget.
14. Analytical review reporting of key expense variances to budget/forecast + recommendations.
15. Deliver quality financial reporting and analysis to identify trends and improve performance.
16. Manage capex spends, ROI, and cost/benefit analysis and report on spend monthly.
17. Conduct monthly reviews to improve budget accuracy.
18. Produce timely and accurate department margin analysis monthly.
19. Provide business data to all branches and departments, driving enhanced net margins.
20. Manage tax compliance, including co-operating with external tax advisors.
21. Liaise with external auditors on the delivery of financial statement audits.
22. Prepare statutory returns - VAT, PAYE, PRSI etc.
23. Prepare Annual Accounts.
