We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager - Fresh Food Production to lead our production team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our fresh food production facility, ensuring high-quality products are produced efficiently and effectively.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing cross-functional teams, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining high levels of Health and Safety standards. They will also possess excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and commercial skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily operations of the fresh food production facility
• Manage cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective production processes
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality
• Maintain high levels of Health and Safety standards throughout the facility
• Develop and implement effective training programs for employees
• Collaborate with senior management to achieve annual site objectives
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience in fresh food manufacturing operations
• Strong knowledge of production processes, Health & Safety standards, and LEAN methodologies
• Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and commercial skills
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams
• Results-driven mindset and commitment to operational excellence
• Minimum of 34 years in an operations/production management role
