About the Position:
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Professional to provide secretarial and administrative support across multiple areas of law.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a strong legal background to work in a busy general practice law firm.
* Provide comprehensive support to solicitors and legal executives
* Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
* Manage diaries, schedule appointments, and organise meetings
* Handle client enquiries in a professional and confidential manner
* Maintain and organise client files (both paper and electronic)
* Assist with file opening and closing procedures
* Prepare and process financial documents
* Liaise with clients and third parties as required
* Support the smooth running of the office
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a legal secretary ideally within a general practice
* Excellent knowledge of legal terminology and documentation
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
* Fast and accurate typing skills
* Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail
* Professional telephone manner
* Ability to work under pressure and manage a varied workload
* Discretion and respect for client confidentiality
* Experience in multiple practice areas
Legal secretarial qualification or relevant training preferred but not essential
