Job Description
A Senior Communication Specialist is required to work with a mixed caseload for adults in primary care, South Laois.
The ideal candidate will have a recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy, CORU registration, 3 years post-graduate experience working with adults with acquired communication difficulties, swallowing difficulties and voice problems, permission to work in Ireland, a professional approach to work and a full driver's license with access to own vehicle desirable.
The role involves providing specialist therapy services to individuals with a range of communication and swallowing needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating therapy programs to achieve optimal outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assessing and diagnosing communication and swallowing disorders
* Developing and implementing individualised therapy plans
* Providing education and support to clients and their families
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
Desirable skills and qualifications include:
* Recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
* CORU registration
* 3 years post-graduate experience working with adults with acquired communication difficulties
* Permission to work in Ireland
* Full driver's license and access to own vehicle
