Overview
Public Health Nurses (PHNs) deliver care across the lifespan to individuals, families and communities.
The focus of the service is to promote health and well-being, protect the public and provide clinical nursing care to the population through the delivery of high-quality evidence based nursing care.
The PHN delivers and coordinates a broad based integrated prevention, education and health promotion nursing service as part of the Primary Care Team, delivering an integrated model of care in accordance with national agreements
Essential Criteria
Candidates must at the time of application;
Be registered in the Public Health Nurse Division of the Register of Nurses maintained by the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) (Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na
hÉireann).
