The role:The purpose of this position is to deliver the project KPI's for Delivery, Quality, Safety, Cost and Customer Service Excellence through effective management of the project commissioning team and interface with the client to ensure all project requirements are met.Manages the project commissioning team at site to deliver the requirements of the project specific contract accepted at ITO to OTR handover.Requirements:Demonstrable knowledge of power plant standards, processes, procedures and methods relevant to commissioning and with detailed understanding of underlying principlesExceptional experience and training in the commissioning of systems and equipment and all safety and plant isolation aspects of commissioningStrong management and leadership skillsCustomer focusedStrong problem solving and critical analysis skills.Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills at all levelsAbility to hold and chair meetings with both the SEL Management & Commissioning Team and the Customers Management Team.Ability to reduce large amounts of data to insightful observationsCapable of delivering results in a diverse, ever changing environmentStrong facilitation, listening and conflict resolution skillsAccepts accountability and program ownershipData focused decision makerPrincipal Working RelationshipsReports on a daily basis directly to the Project Manager and customer management teams to deliver the functional requirements.Contract duration: 5 months
