As an IT & Data Officer, you will oversee seamless IT operations across multiple locations.
* Level 1 & 2 daily IT Support: application support, desktop support, account management;
* Troubleshoot issues using remote management tools and site visits may be necessary at times if needed;
* Perform basic upgrade Desktops, laptops or hardware including RAM, SSD, keyboard;
* Troubleshoot network issues, wi-fi issues, cable issues;
* Oversee third-party software support incl. renewal of contracts;
* Monitoring various risk items as per logs, and managing Desktops, Laptops, switches, access points;
* Managing systems security with Sonic Wall firewall protection, and antivirus with endpoint security on a priority basis;
* Provide quick support in patching, upgrading, and safe disposal of end-of-life hardware items and maintenance of associated Asset Register;
* Managing and updating the intra-net of organisation using Share Point;
* Overall coverage of servers, wi-fi controller systems, and regular backup, patching the systems;
* Support user access control for various applications;
* Maintaining Active directory for joiners, leavers, File management/Share folders, and print management enabling mono printing by default.
Implementation of Group Policy for various requirements; Microsoft exchange Admin level support incl. organisational email access, reset passwords, MFA, and support for HSE Healthmail;
Overseeing daily backup, onsite offsite backup, and cloud backup. NAS box, MS One Drive backups where ever necessary;
Overseeing contract renewals on Phone systems, CCTV systems, Broadband, mobile network, fibre links;
1. Training Staff on organisational IT policy, GDPR, cyber security, secure use of email, systems;
2. Creating/updating user manuals for systems or software support and uploading them to intranet;
3. Assist website developers by coordinating the collection of information from organisation wherever necessary;
4. Support AV systems for MS Teams and Zoom meetings;
5. Overview of CCTV and phone systems in each location;
6. Assisting inventory of software, and hardware with third-party vendors;
7. Stakeholder management of all third part support functions, overseeing ICT development projects;
8. Report and manage incidents in conformity with service level agreements;
9. Assist in data analysis of daily occupancy of care homes using dashboard support;
10. Monthly or bi-weekly rollout of updates on Windows servers, PCs, Wi-Fi controllers, firewall;
11. Generate any weekly reports from care management, and financial management software as required.
Requirements
A degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
* Experience in troubleshooting and resolving application and desktop issues;
* Knowledge of remote management tools and site visits for hands-on support;
* Ability to upgrade desktops, laptops (RAM, SSD, keyboard replacements);
* Troubleshooting network issues, including Wi-Fi and cable issues;
* Experience managing security through firewalls (Sonic Wall) and endpoint security software;
* Regular backup management (onsite, offsite, cloud backup like NAS, One Drive);
* Active Directory: Managing users (joiners, leavers), file shares, print management, Group Policy implementation;
* Microsoft Exchange: Managing email access, password resets, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and HSE Healthmail;
* MDM (Mobile Device Management): Managing tablets, apps, and updates.intranet (Share Point): Maintaining and updating content.
