Key Responsibilities

* Implement a play-based curriculum that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.

* Guide, observe, stimulate, and supervise children in a safe and caring environment, promoting their well-being and happiness.

* Conduct observations and learning stories for all children, using this information to inform planning and make decisions about their care and education.

* Organize materials and resources to reflect children's emerging interests and abilities, ensuring that they are engaged and motivated throughout their time with us.

* Support the emotional, social, and cognitive development of children, recognizing the importance of relationships in their learning and growth.

Requirements

* A minimum of FETAC Level 5 in Early Years Education or equivalent qualification.

* Strong understanding and experience in Early Childhood Education, including working with parents and carers to promote positive outcomes for children.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and build strong relationships with children, families, and other stakeholders.

* A flexible and adaptable approach, with a willingness to embrace new ideas and approaches to early years education and care.
