Elm Homecare is currently recruiting
compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants
to support individuals to live safely, independently, and with dignity in their own homes across County Kildare and Dublin.
This role is ideal for caring professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred home support in line with best practice, HIQA standards, and HSE requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide person-centred care and support in line with individual care plans
* Assist service users with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities
* Promote independence, dignity, choice, and autonomy at all times
* Support emotional, social, and practical needs within the home environment
* Accurately complete daily care records and report any concerns promptly
* Adhere to safeguarding, infection prevention, and health & safety policies
* Work collaboratively with service users, families, and the wider care team
Essential Requirements
* QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (or working towards)
* Experience in homecare, disability services, or elder care (desirable)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A caring, respectful, and professional approach
* Ability to work independently and follow care plans
* Full driving licence and access to own transport (desirable, depending on location)
